The new Mercedes-AMG E 53 HYBRID 4MATIC+ - Combination of combustion engine and electric motor with 430 kW (585 hp) system output - Large battery for long electric range of up to more than 100 kilometres - Next long-range hybrid from Mercedes-AMG after GLE HYBRID Mercedes-AMG is once again redefining their newest performance car by introducing the E53 AMG, a marvel of engineering that harmoniously blends potent performance with cutting-edge electrification. This latest iteration in the storied E-Class lineage heralds a bold stride into the future, marrying a high-performance six-cylinder inline engine with a state-of-the-art electric motor. The E53 AMG is a testament to Mercedes-AMG's commitment to innovation, luxury, and environmental responsibility. The E53 AMG showcases an awe-inspiring system output of 430 kW (585 hp), which can surge to 450 kW (612 hp) in RACE START mode, complemented by a system torque of 750 Nm. This powerhouse configuration consists of a 330 kW internal combustion engine and a 120 kW electric motor, ensuring exhilarating performance figures. The saloon variant dashes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.0 seconds, or 3.8 seconds with the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package. The estate variant is similarly impressive, achieving 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, or 3.9 seconds with the AMG DYNAMIC PLUS package. Speed enthusiasts will appreciate the electronically limited top speed of 250 km/h, which can be extended to 280 km/h (Saloon) or 275 km/h (Estate) with the AMG Driver’s package. Moreover, the E53 AMG can cruise in all-electric mode up to 140 km/h, featuring a traction battery that enables an electric range of over 100 kilometers according to WLTP standards. Charging is convenient and efficient, with an 11 kW onboard charging device and an optional 60 kW DC fast charger that significantly reduces downtime. The E53 AMG's drive system is complemented by the sophisticated AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission and AMG Performance 4MATIC+ fully variable all-wheel drive, ensuring dynamic acceleration and optimum traction under all conditions. The vehicle's agility is further enhanced by a rigorously reinforced body-in-white and the AMG RIDE CONTROL suspension with adaptive damping, providing a seamless blend of high-performance handling and ride comfort.
